Here we help you gain access to the diagnostics of a LifeFitness T9i treadmill with an LED console. The image below will help you understand the control and message locations.
You can get to the Diagnostics or Service Menu a few different ways with a T9i treadmill.
One way is by holding down the Pause key while you press the Stop Button.
Another way is by holding down the Pause key while pressing the Clear key twice.
Another method is with the machine powered off; press and hold the Pause key while someone turns the machine power on.
Each way of entering the Diagnostics or Service Menu will take 3-4 seconds to engage the system and display something in the message center. If successful, you will see Service Menu appear in the message center.
There are four main categories of the Diagnostics or Service Menu. These categories are System Test, Information, Maintenance, and Configuration. You will use any arrow key to scroll through the categories. You will press Enter to select the desired category.
To exit the Diagnostics or Service Menu, press the Clear key multiple times. If you have successfully exited the Diagnostics or Service Menu, the message center will display System Initializing.
