Replacing the bike seat pad on your Matrix Training Cycle is a simple task. It's a quick one, two, and you'e putting your new bike seat in place to be ready for your next ride.
Many replacement seats on the market will include a standard seat post clamp.
If the new seat you purchased has one of these and it's installed onto the bike seat, you will want to remove it from the seat. You will not need the standard seat post clamp.
The example below, shows the built-in seat adjustment set of the Matrix Training Cycles. The seat adjustment set is where you slip the rails of your bike seat into, similar to the way the standard seat clamp holds the rails of the bike seat.
You will remove the screw securing the seat rails into the adjustment set (circled in red below) and remove the seat.
You install the new seat in place and replace the screw. Tighten the screw no more than 7.5 ft/lbs.
