Stairmaster Cardio, New Alternator 260-0952, Backwards Compatible to Replace SM22900

The alternator on Stairmaster cardio machines has been replaced at the OEM by a new alternator. Stairmaster was previously using their part number SM22900 as the alternator for cardio machines. This part has been replaced by the new alternator part number 260-0952. This new part number will fit older machines; however, the wiring has changed. The new alternator will need to be wired to the machine differently when replacing an alternator on older machines.
