Where to Find Your Matrix Serial Number

Use the locations below to find the serial number on your Matrix equipment. You’ll need this number when ordering parts or contacting Sportsmith support.

Treadmills

Matrix Treadmill Serial Number Location

A serial number may be found in one of these locations.

Body/Base of Machine Only

  1. Located on the front of the machine, near the power switch.
  2. Located on the front crossbar with the transport wheels.

Ellipticals

Matrix Elliptical Serial Number Location

A serial number may be found in one of these locations.

Body/Base of Machine Only

  1. Located under the lower console mast boot (remove plastic cover).
  2. Located on the user's left side wheel track.

Ascent Trainer

Matrix Ascent Trainer Serial Number Location

A serial number may be found in one of these locations.

  1. Located on the rear frame leg, the user's right side.
  2. Located on the front stabilizer bar.

Exercise Bikes

Hybrid

Matrix Hybrid Bike Serial Number Location

A serial number may be found in one of these locations.

Body/Base of Machine Only

  1. Located on the front stabilizer bar.
  2. Located on the seat track (seat must be in lowest position).

Upright and Recumbent

Matrix Bike Serial Number Location

A serial number may be found in one of these locations.

Body/Base of Machine Only

  1. Located on the front stabilizer bar.
  2. Located on the lower mast (must remove cover).

StairMill

Located on the frame in the front of the machine on the user's left.

Stair Climbers

Matrix Stepper Serial Number Location

A serial number may be found in one of these locations.

Body/Base of Machine Only

  1. Located on the front of the machine, near the power switch.
  2. Located below the bottom of the console mast (beneath a rubber boot).

Rowers

Located on the front stabilizer bar.

Consoles

Matrix Console Serial Number Location

A serial number may be found in one of these locations.

Ascent Trainer Consoles

  1. Located on bar code sticker, near the connection between the console and mast.
  2. Found under Manager Mode or Engineering Mode in the display.

Bike Consoles (Upright, Recumbent, and Hybrid)

  1. Located on bar code sticker, near the connection between the console and mast.
  2. Found under Manager Mode or Engineering Mode in the display.

Elliptical Consoles

  1. Located on bar code sticker, near the connection between the console and mast.
  2. Found under Manager Mode or Engineering Mode in the display.

Stepper Consoles

  1. Located on bar code sticker, near the connection between the console and mast.
  2. Found under Manager Mode, Engineering Mode, or Service Mode in the display.

Treadmill Consoles

  1. Found under Manager Mode or Engineering Mode in the display.
  2. Located on the back of the console.
