Troubleshooting Quinton
Quinton Hyperdrive Treadmills, ClubTrack/ClubTrack HR/MedTrack, EPLO Error, BUS Voltage Too Low
An EPLO error on the Quinton Hyperdrive Clubtrack, Clubtrack HR, and MedTrack treadmills indicates an issue with low voltage. This error applies to treadmills with serial numbers beginning 377, 382, 402, 425, 380, and 390.
The EPLO error is defined as BUS Voltage is Too Low.
If this error is present on your treadmill, you will want to check the line voltage. If the voltage is below what it should be, you must check with your facility maintenance. The low voltage will need to be addressed and corrected by maintenance or an electrician.
If the line voltage is good, check the lower board for the DS3 light. Is the DS3 light on?
- If yes, you will need to replace the VSD board. This part has been discontinued and is no longer available.
- If no, disconnect power from the machine (unplug the treadmill from the outlet) and wait for the high voltage indicator light to go off. Connect your meter and power up the machine. Check the transformer output voltage. Do this at the J9 connector, pins 9 and 10. Is the transformer output less than 24.6VAC?
- If not, replace the VSD board. This part has been discontinued and is no longer available.
- If yes, replace the transformer. This part has been discontinued and is no longer available.
